Testimonials

‘From the outset, Caitlyn Williams, Alexander Oliver and Emily Hutton-Davies demonstrated a deep understanding of the SEND process and brought both clarity and confidence to what is, as many parents will know, an incredibly complex and emotionally demanding journey. Over the course of my case, and in March 2026, the case concluded with final Tribunal outcome in our favour. They supported me in securing an appropriate EHCP for my daughter with the Local Authority recognising that a specialist setting was required. Their approach was strategic, measured and always focused on achieving the best possible outcome for my child. They were proactive at every stage, ensuring that key points were clearly articulated and robustly challenged where needed. What stood out most was their ability to combine strong legal expertise with genuine care and responsiveness. Communication was clear and timely throughout, and I always felt that my case was being handled with both professionalism and purpose. They took the time to understand the detail, guide me through each stage with confidence, and ensure I felt supported throughout the process. The result speaks for itself. I am incredibly grateful for their support and would not hesitate to recommend Caitlyn, Alexander, Emily and the wider HCB team to any parent navigating to EHCP process.’

‘We never expected to need legal help for our son’s school placement but found ourselves in the position to need to appeal the EHCP plan for our son. Friends recommended HCB solicitors and I’m so glad they did. The outcome was more than successful and we were supported through every step of the process. All work charged was fair and reasonable and everything was explained to us with care and detail. We dealt with many staff members at the firm and each and everyone of you were polite and supportive, it was an absolute pleasure to have had you as our solicitors. Thank you to Caitlyn who took our case on as things heated up you were incredible and your advice was exactly what we needed to finish the case. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this team if you are looking for help with your children’s EHCP.’
